Repeat Prescriptionsorange_pills

The Carradale Surgery is a dispensing practice.  This means that medicines can usually be given to you at the time of consultation.  Occasionally a prescription will be issued which can be redeemed at a pharmacy shop in Campbeltown or Tarbert.

Repeat medication should be requested by either telephoning the surgery on (01583) 431376 during reception hours or completing a re-order slip and posting this in the surgery letter box or handing it into reception.  You can also email prescription requests to

Medicines can then be collected from the Carradale Surgery during normal opening hours, or from Skipness Village Hall or Post Office on a Wednesday.  Requests received before 10:00 are normally ready the next working day.  Those received after 10:00 take longer.  Please re-order your medication in good time before you run out.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
